Apex Legends Season 6 has been progressing pretty smoothly so far. The season brought some interesting features in the form of a new legend, weapon, and other exciting changes. Apart from a few minor issues, the game has kept players glued to their gaming chairs.
Respawn has been listening to player feedback and has responded quickly with updates when required. Alongside the addition of Rampart, several legends received their share of balancing acts in Season 6. This has made the games more intense and raised the competition on the battlefield. However, some legends can still feel a little unbalanced at times.
Recently, Nokokopuffs, a pro Apex player, spoke about changes he feels are necessary for Lifeline. Last season, Lifeline had received a game-changing buff that gave her the ability to revive downed teammates by deploying D.O.C, while being able to move freely and defend. The pro player has suggested a nerf for Lifeline’s ability to resurrect.

Pro player suggests Lifeline change in Apex Legends
According to Nokokopuffs, Lifeline is the only legend in the game that can reward players even if they make bad plays. In a tweet, Christian “Nokokopuffs” Feliciano proposed a cooldown for Lifeline’s revive and asked fans, who feel the legend doesn’t need a nerf, to provide three valid reasons.
He further explained how one Lifeline’s current revive mechanic facilitates multiple resurrections spontaneously. The gameplay in ranked or competitive games is undoubtedly different from regular matches. Therefore, Nokokopuffs suggests an instant first revive, and then a 5-second cooldown for subsequent revives.

I mean in ranked. The average player doesn’t do what a pro does and even a plat lifeline that can result 3-5 times gives us trouble. The average player must make 10x more than me. I’m just saying first res is free then a 5 sec cool down. It just makes more sense.

She NEEDS a instant res. The res itself isnt broken. Its the SPAMMABLE Res that is. 2nd,3rd,4th,5th. Thats the issue.

Lifeline undoubtedly plays the role of the ultimate support in Apex. Utilizing her various abilities, she can not only bring back teammates from the brink of death but also provide them with high-tier loot and additional utility. Moreover, the buff she had received last season expanded her teamwork capabilities and fulfilled her ‘Combat Medic’ tag.
While a brief cooldown for Lifeline’s revival capabilities seems plausible to some, others believe that the support legend is well-balanced already. This is because Lifeline’s abilities only come in clutch when teammates are down, and the squad is about to get rushed.

The only time lifeline is useful is when a teammate goes down. That gives your team a chance to push up while the res is happening. If you can’t finish the fight after that it’s your problem
