Operators and Movement

The stream introduced an upgraded system for the way the operators moved. This brought 4 significant changes that will be different than the current system in Warzone and Modern Warfare. Firstly, it introduced the sprint-take off. The let the players start their movement with a sprint that eased into a normal walk. This made the movement look a little realistic. Next was the sliding. When a slide ended, it put the players in a crouched position which felt more natural. This was different than the current sliding system in MW. The biggest change was footstep-control. Apart from the ‘Ninja’ perk, the players were able to control their footsteps sounds in combat. This enabled the use of stealth in high-pressure situations and also included the moment of surprise. Lastly, the jumping mechanics were also tweaked to make it more realistic.
