And now, pre-order bonuses for the game have reportedly leaked and they will a lot of fans very happy.

As reported by Cod Tracker, the bonuses will include cosmetics, weapons pack, Season 1 battle pass, and also access to the beta launch.
“As expected from modern Call of Duty titles, Black Ops Cold War will feature an Open Beta for players to experience the game before its release. Those who’ve pre-purchased the game will receive exclusive access to the Beta before it is made available to the public. We believe that this is a Multiplayer Beta, though the information does not explicitly state this.

Considering how many leaks and rumors have been true so far, this also seems quite likely. Activision launching the game in beta is not surprising considering almost every developer is opting to do so these days. It will help them identify pesky bugs they might have missed. This will enable them to release a much more refined version of the game.
