Dominic Thiem shared his opinion on the return of tennis. As quoted by Der Standard, he was all for it and he said,

“Tennis is definitely one of the really big sports worldwide. And the others like Formula 1 and basketball have all started again. So it’s about time that tennis follows suit.”

However, since the United States has recorded the most COVID-19 cases, many players like Rafael Nadal have withdrawn from the events. As a NextGen player, the Austrian has been trying to win one for quite a while and has come close on numerous occasions. If he wins his first Slam, he will break the long-lasting reign of the ‘Big 3’. And hopefully, he will finally do it at this year’s US Open which starts on August 31.
