How to participate in the Fishing Tourney?

On the day of the fishing event, players need to visit C.J. at the Resident Services. He would appear with a large cooler. So, players need to go and talk to C.J. to start the Fishing Tourney. Players will get three minutes and have to catch as many fishes they can in this period. Players should use fish baits if they hope to catch more fish.

Players can try this event as many times as they want. But they have to give five bells to C.J. for trying the event except for the first trial, which is free. So, it would be wise for players to give their best in the free trial. Players can also participate in this event with their friends in multiplayer mode. Also, players can avoid entry free if they play in multiplayer.

What to do with the caught fish in Animal Crossing?

All the fish caught during the event are automatically stored in C.J’s cooler. So, players don’t have to worry about filling their own storage. Further, players can directly sell the caught fish to C.J. for 1.5X more than their regular selling price. Players can even keep any fish they want for themselves. But players need to clear the cooler before they want to go for another trial.

What are the rewards for the Fishing Tourney?

Players will get points for every fish they catch and two bonus points for catching three fish. Later, players can exchange those points for exclusive fish-themed swag items. There are 13 exclusive rewards that players can buy using the points, and all items would cost 10 points. So, players must spend 130 points to bag all 13 items.
