Lance Stroll– The 2 youngest driver in F1 to make his grand prix debut. The Canadian rookie made his debut at Australia at the age of 18 years 148 days (around a year younger than the record). Max Verstappen holds the record for youngest F1 driver to make his debut.

Lance Stroll became the second youngest podium finisher in F1 history. At age of 18 years and 239 days, he finished 3 at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. He just missed the outright record by 12 days.

-Lance Stroll is the 2 youngest driver to score points in F1. At the 2017 Canadian Grand Prix, he scored 2 points through a 9 place finish, on his 7 race in F1. His age was 18 years and 225 days.

Esteban Ocon of Force India extended his ironman streak. The Frenchman, competing in his first full season of F1 had 27 consecutive race finishes from the start of his career. The streak came to an end when he collided with fellow Frenchman, Romain Grosjean at Brazil.

Sergio Perez now holds the record for most F1 points without a win. The Mexican has scored 467 points in 137 entries (134 starts), and has stepped onto the podium 7 times, but not the top step.

Nico Hulkenberg has now started 137 races without ever scoring a podium. The former LeMans 24 hours has finished 4 on a few occasions.

Lewis Hamilton now has started 208 consecutive F1 races (and continuing). This beats Nico Rosberg’s 206 consecutive starts.

-Lewis has raced all 208 races with a Mercedes engine. The record for a driver and a single engine manufacturer.

-With his wins at Canada and United States, Lewis has won each of those grand prix’s 6 times. It trails Michael Schumacher’s 8 at France and 7 at Canada and San Marino.

-At the United States and British Grand Prix’s mean Lewis has won 4 consecutive races at these venues. Only Ayrton Senna’s 5 at Monaco is ahead in consecutive wins at the same venue.

-With 13 podium finishes, Lewis has 117 podium finishes, moving 2 all-time in podiums. Only Schumacher’s 155 is ahead of him. The 13 podiums scored by Sebastian Vettel, moved him 4all-time with 99 podiums.

Lewis Hamilton has now taken pole 72 times in his career. This makes him the record holder, finally moving ahead of Michael Schumacher’s 68.

-Lewis Hamilton has now taken 6 pole positions at Australia, China, Canada and Italy. Only Senna and Schumacher have scored more pole positions in different venues.

-Lewis has tied Juan Manuel Fangio, Ayrton Senna and Michael Schumacher in having the most pole positions in 6 different seasons.

Lewis Hamilton has now finished 25 consecutive races in the points. He is 2 races behind Kimi Raikkonen’s record and will look to continue that streak when the 2018 season kicks off.

-Lewis ties Sebastian Vettel and Jim Clark with 13 races with leading every lap. Only Ayrton Senna who led every lap in 19 races is ahead.

-Lewis has now led at least 1 lap in 114 races. He joins Michael Schumacher as the only other driver to have lead at least 1 lap in 100+ races.

-Lewis tied Michael Schumacher’s record of 40 poles and victories in a race. He can surpass that record next season.

-Lewis has completed 14 hat-tricks in Formula One. He trails Michael Schumacher’s 22. A hat-trick is pole, win and set the fastest lap of the race.

-Lewis Hamilton has completed 5 grand slams in F1. That is pole, win, set the fastest lap and lead every lap of the race. He trails only Jim Clark’s 8. Lewis set 3 such Grand Slams’s in 2017 (China, Canada, Britain) and joins Clark (did it in 1963 and 1965) and Alberto Ascari (1952) as the only other drivers to achieve this feat 3 times in a single year.
