Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6 Guide: How to Complete Week 9 Epic and Legendary Quests

Chapter 2 Season 6 of Fortnite has been a colossal hit up till now. From new weapons, POIs, NPCs to the arrival of characters like Batman, Harley Quinn, the latest season is packed with content for the players.

Furthermore, the developers have brought a plethora of unique challenges in the past few weeks. These include the weekly Legendary and Epic quests, as well as special quests related to the Spire and Neymar Jr.

The Epic and Legendary quests for Week 9 are no exception. They will grant huge rewards to the players, but will simultaneously test their skills, game sense and patience.

Legendary Quest for Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6 Week 9 requires you to catch fish

To receive huge amounts of XP in the upcoming week, you will have to catch 250 fishes. The Legendary quest is divided into five stages (50,100, 150, 200, 250). While the first stage grants 35,000 XP, stages 2-5 give out 24,500 XP each.

It is worth noting that this will be a team challenge, hence, try to complete it in Team Rumble. Even though there are many POIs that contain fishes, it is recommended to complete the quest in Craggy Cliff because it has an abundance of fishing rods and fishing holes.

Epic Quests for Chapter 2 Season 6 Week 9

You need to interact with any of the aforementioned NPCs to complete this challenge. Here are their locations:

  • Cluck – Primal Pond (east of Weeping Woods)
  • Bushranger – Pleasant Park (trees to the west)
  • Tarana – Boney Burbs (shack on the north side)
  • Rex – Dusted Depot (east of The Spire)
  • Grill Sergeant – Durrr Burger Food Truck (east of Stealthy Stronghold)

The best location to hunt a boar is Colossal Crops. Just land there, find a weapon, and look for a nearby boar.

Build a Hunter’s Cloak, and when you reach a chicken, hit it with the pickaxe. As soon as it starts to run away, follow it for 7 seconds. The primal regions on the map have the highest amount of chickens.

Even though the actual amount to be gained is not known yet, it is safe to assume you’ll have to gain 100 health inside the storm. Simply grab some healing items and complete this challenge. Avoid trying this during the later parts of a game.

Equip yourself with a Shockwave Grenade and wait for the storm. As soon as it arrives, use the Shockwave Grenade on yourself while being a part of the storm.

Complete a match in Team Rumble and you’ll automatically survive three phases. Repeat the process 3-4 times and you’ll be able to complete this challenge.
