IBF lightweight champion Teofimo Lopez breaks down Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Jr.

Teofimo Lopez sat down with his social media following to do a small Q&A session. A few interesting questions and a lot of interesting answers came through from this interactive session.

One question that has been making the rounds over the entire industry for a while now is: Mike Tyson or Roy Jones Jr.? A question everyone asks and wants answers to.

Both legendary heavyweights are making their return to the ring soon. After 15 years of absence, Tyson will return for an 8-round exhibition fight. Set for November 28, this fight will go down at the Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California.

The two legends have been training hard, and it looks as though they’re back to their prime days. Fit and ready to put on a show.

When posed with this question, Teofimo Lopez had a lot to say.

“Roy Jones or Mike Tyson? I’m happy for them. The fact that they’re at that age now and they’re putting in that work and are looking tremendous. I want both of them to win, but you know that can’t happen!

“So I just say I’m going to go political and stick with the fans. I think the fans are going to win that night!” Lopez said.

He went on to add, “I’m looking forward to it. Mike Tyson though; he looks scary. At 53 years of age doing what he is doing right now, UFF! But Roy is smart, he is smart too!”
