ICC Cricket World Cup 2019: Team Jerseys

The ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 is upon us as the team prepares for the extravaganza quadrennial event. The teams have started their practice for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 scheduled to start from May 30.

The 10 teams participating at the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 have already launched their world cup kits. Apart from the West Indies, New Zealand, and Afghanistan, every other team has released a New Jersey which will be donned July them in the quadrennial event. Let’s take a look at the boys in their ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 jerseys –

The Australian team will not be seen in a full yellow color jersey in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019. The team will have some green color on their jersey. The team had already launched its kit in the month of April. The apparel partner of Team Australia, ASICS gave a retro look to the Australian Jersey.

Afghanistan is participating in the ICC World Cup for the second time after their first appearance at the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015. Afghanistan has opted for the same jersey in the ICC World Cup 2019. The team also opted for an alternative jersey as the color of the jersey has the right blend of blue and red color. There are also stripes present on the trousers. The team jersey was launched on May 8.

The Bangladesh Cricket team jersey was in the headlines when they launched a full green color jersey. The kit was similar to that of Pakistan’s kit, which created a controversy altogether. The jersey was eventually altered after huge criticism and the traditional red stripes were again added to their kit.

There were not many changes in the jersey of men in blue. However, there’s a tricolor strip added to the collars with and also includes features like date and venue of their world cup titles. The India orange color jersey was also added as an alternate jersey.

The South African team will come out at the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 with light and dark shades of the green color jersey. The sleeves of the t-shirt are dark green in color with a few black shades. The new kit was launched in April but it didn’t go down well with the fans.

The new kit of the hosts England made the most headlines with its revamped jersey color. The New Jersey is light blue in color, similar to that of the 1992 edition of the World Cup. The jersey brought nostalgic feelings for the fans as it was the last time when England reached the finals of the World Cup and it also came out to be the best results for England at the ICC World Cups.

West Indies did not change their jersey and will be seen in the same kit as before at the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019. The team will play with the same old maroon color jersey.

Pakistan team will be seen in the same old green color jersey at the ICC World Cup 2019. The new kit is full dark green in color as always and just the star at the front is yellow in color. The team launched its jersey on May 21.

The Blackcaps haven’t changed their jersey color. The team’s jersey is loved by their fans and so they did not try to change it. The New Zealand team launched their New Jersey in the 2015 World Cup but they’ll be seen in the same black color jersey in ICC World Cup 2019.

Apart from India and Afghanistan, Sri Lankan team will also have a blue color jersey. However, there is a right blend of yellow color on the jersey of Sri Lanka.
