One of Pakistan’s greatest, Wasim Akram could make the make the ball talk and walk the way he wanted to. He is wildly regarded as the founder of reverse swing. Coupled with his pace and the wide movement of the ball he was able to generate, Akram is probably rated as the best left arm pacer the world has ever seen. He has 414 wickets in Tests and 502 in ODIs to his name. A very effective all-rounder as well, Akram has the highest score of 257 in Tests, which he scored against Zimbabwe. He achieved the feat of 400 test wickets in his 96th match. Adding to his glory, Wisden named him as the best ODI bowler of all time, in 2002.
