The bizarre world of F1 has seen some crazy days on the grid with shifting strategies and unexpected faces on podiums. The tradition of jumping ship has picked up. Verstappen can beat Lewis Hamilton: Jordan

In this context, Eddie Jordan, founder of Jordan Grand Prix, suggested a possibility that shook Red Bull.

“Hamilton’s future is still unclear. He has not yet signed a contract for next year. Perhaps because he already knows that his confidante Toto Wolff will stop and his Mercedes team could change hands at the latest by the end of 2021.

Jordan reckons Hamilton’s hunger for World Championships will run out, eventually. The Irishman thinks Verstappen could use that to his advantage.

“Lewis is unbelievable, he will soon break all of Michael Schumacher’s records. He will then have achieved everything. But he will no longer have the hunger you need in the end to be at the top. Because champions are like wild predators that bite and eat whatever gets in their way.”

Jordan has his justification on point. Although his reason doesn’t benefit Red Bull, it would benefit the fans.

“It would be a bend and break fight. In the end, Red Bull would maybe only win two-thirds of all races because the gamecocks would shoot each other off the track in some races.

“But in the end everyone would have something of which: Liberty, the fans, Red Bull and Verstappen. Because he would win,” declared Jordan.
