There are two types of celebrities. The ones who follow trends, and the ones who give birth to the trends. In the case of Michael Jordan, it’s not hard to determine which category he falls into.

The NBA legend has always been ahead of the game with a flair of class. Be it in his profession, in his sport, or in his style statement.

His exploits in the first two contexts are pretty well covered, so take a look at the third, and in particular, look at the watch he wore during the recent NASCAR Cup Series race weekend at Nashville.

The former Chicago Bulls player was there to support Bubba Wallace, who drives for the 23XI Racing, a team that Jordan co-owns.

During his appearance, the co-owner of the team was seen wearing an insane Urwerk UR-220. This is an ultra-rare (limited to 10 pieces worldwide), futuristic-looking watch that has a case made of 18K red gold.

As for the price? It costs over $150,000.

Along with this, Jordan also owns another UR-220 Falcon, a model limited to 15 pieces per year. This model is made of super resistant CTP carbon and it costs over $160,000.

Does Bubba Wallace get star-struck by Michael Jordan?

It’d be very tough to find someone who doesn’t get star-struck by Michael Jordan, but his NASCAR driver, Bubba Wallace, recently admitted in an interview that he, for one, doesn’t.

“I rarely ever get starstruck… I don’t know if I ever really have. And to me, MJ’s just another guy that is passionate about what he likes to do, and is competitive and we share a lot of the same core values,” Wallace said.

“So, it’s really cool.”
