How much does Michael Jordan earn from the shoes?

Michael Jordan has a whopping net worth of around $1.6 billion, according to Forbes. And his iconic sneaker line has played a huge part.

He apparently earned around $130 million from the sneaker line which is four times more than what LeBron James earns. The love story of Michael Jordan and Nike started all the way back in 1984. Nike decided to sign the young Jordan for a fee of 2,50,000 dollars which turned into one of the biggest franchises in the world.

Although the Jordan brand represents only 8% of Nike, it had a growth of 10% during the fiscal year of 2019. That’s more growth than Nike itself! (Source: Forbes)
