While there may be rumors around the league’s cancellation amidst the Coronavirus pandemic, Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is confident of the league’s resumption. James took to Twitter to slash out any rumors that the executives want to cancel the league. The tweet also said that James himself was ready and waiting for the action.

“Saw some reports about execs and agents wanting to cancel season??? That’s absolutely not true. Nobody I know saying anything like that. As soon as it’s safe we would like to finish our season. I’m ready and our team is ready. Nobody should be canceling anything,” a tweet from James’ twitter account on Thursday read.

The NBA suspended its league in March after Rudy Gobert became the first positive case of coronavirus in the league. NBA has since then discussed various possible scenarios considering how the league could resume.
