Los Angeles Lakers seem to be in a comfortable zone after straight wins in the first two Finals games over Miami Heat. As they move forward, LeBron James and Anthony Davis‘ contribution extends further. The star duo has taken their team this far and hope to grab the title soon.

Bron-Davis have together created some incredible moments this Playoff season in Orlando as part of Lakers. They seem unstoppable, with LeBron being the experienced one and AD with young energy.

The 35-year-old King is averaging 27 points, and Davis 29.3 this postseason. That adds up to way past 50 points per game combined. These are phenomenal numbers. We see the two players breaking records now and then.

Lakers’ duo, LeBron James and Anthony Davis, compliment each other on court

As LeBron adds more years to his career, NBA analyst Jim Jackson believes that AD can help him prolong his impressive years in the league. The duo is functioning smoothly this year and holds a charged up chemistry in court. How does Jackson explain his statement?

“The freedom of movement allows guys to get to the basket. AD is going to play on the perimeter, so he’s going to give you a whole different dimension of what he can do offensively,” Jim mentioned on NBA TV.

“It’s tougher to take the ball out of his (AD) hands. With Shaq (O’Neal) you could kind of dump one get to him. But because he can put in on perimeter, he presents a different problem. And think about this. With LeBron by having a guy like AD, he doesn’t have to dominate as much.

Well, with AD improving his game match-by-match, this could stand true in the future. Not demeaning the fact that Bron has been quite a dominating factor even at this age, but moving forward, Davis could be his ‘go-to man’ at all times. “Now he (Bron) can work one-on-one getting more assists too, work on his jumpshot a lot more,” the former Lakers’ player added. Not being the guy that has to go out and score he can be the setup guy.”

“I look at it AD can actually prolong LeBron’s career from this perspective. He doesn’t have to work as hard. Because he has someone he can got to all the time that can relieve a lot of the stress and pressure. And when it’s time for LeBron to take over, he can do that.”

After an extraordinary effort this season, can the duo take on the championship?
