AS Roma to sign Mohammed Salah

Outgoing Chelsea Winger, Mohammed Salah is all set to join the Seria A side AS Roma.

The 23-year-old has found it hard to cement his position in the team with of the likes of Eden Hazard, Willian, and Oscar. The player had spent the second half of the season at the Seria A side Fiorentina, but he refused to continue playing with them this season, despite an agreement between the two clubs.

Jose Mourinho has already confirmed that the player will be leaving. Speaking to the Club’s website he said,”I see his future elsewhere. Either as a loan or an offer, that we are ready to accept happily with likes of Hazard, Willian, Traore, Cuadrado, Moses in the side, we have five players for two positions, it’s better not to have so many.”

Previously, Inter were looking to sign Salah since the player rejected to join Fiorentina. But it seems, AS Roma have entered the race and are all set to get him on loan with an option of buying next year for 9 million.

This deal could help Mohammed Salah rejuvenate his sinking career which once seemed to be glorious. He wants some first team action and is quite frustrated with his Chelsea boss.
