Shahid Afridi thanks Virat Kohli for farewell gift

We all know that the rivalry between India and Pakistan is a tense point. However, players of both nations share some deep friendships at a time. One such example was shown by Indian cricket team.
A few days ago, Pakistani journalist Faizan Lakhani uploaded an image of Virat Kohli’s jersey on Twitter which was signed by Indian cricket team for Shahid Afridi, as a retirement gift. The jersey had the signatures of Kohli, Ashish Nehra, Suresh Raina, Mohammed Shami, Ravindra Jadeja, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Ajinkya Rahane, Shikhar Dhawan, Ravichandran Ashwin, Hardik Pandya, among others. The jersey had a message which said, “Best wishes, always a pleasure playing against you.”

Shahid Afridi has expressed his gratitude to Kohli by posting a tweet which said, “Thank you to you and the entire Indian team for a wonderful farewell gift @imVkohli. Respect superstar, hope to see you soon”.

Following this tweet, Kohli replied,”@SAfridiOfficial It’s a pleasure to have gifted something of importance and a lasting memory @SAfridiOfficial God bless you with everything in life See you .”
