Gennady Golovkin is all set to fight against Ryota Murata on April 09, 2022 in Saitama, Japan. Golovkin has turned 40 years old quite recently but is still feeling great physically and believes that has not lost any strength. Before the bout takes place, let's take a look at Golovkin's body over the years.
Back in 2004, Golovkin was still an amateur and competed in Athens Summer Olympics 2004. He was a skinny yet strong fighter back then.
Golovkin made his pro debut against Gabor Balogh in 2006 and won the bout with a knockout. He has been a ripped guy during most of his career, this year was no different.
This image is from the year 2010. Clearly, Golovkin has gained quite a noticeable amount of muscle compared to before.
Gennady Golovkin will fight against Ryota Murata at the startling age of 40. The shocking part is that he looks the most ripped we have ever seen him. At the age of 40, being as ripped as Golovkin is definitely not easy. He sure is built differently.
