Notably, Jordan played 3 years in Charlotte for the Tar Heels. In 1982, his game-winning jump shot won them the NCAA Championship. Later, he became the principal owner of the NBA team, Charlotte Hornets. Safe to say, Jordan has plenty of connections with Charlotte.
