For Koepka, slow play is irritating. In January 2019, Koepka commented on the slow playing and showed DeChambeau taking a really long time on his club selection.
During the 2019 Northern Trust, videos of DeChambeau’s lengthy pre-shot routine spread on social media. Following which, the tournament broadcasters joined a chorus of voices expressing their frustration.
Koepka and DeChambeau took things a step further. They both appeared on a SiriusXM PGA Tour Radio segment together. When host Michael Collins quipped that there was speculation that the two might fight, DeChambeau defused the idea with humor.
