Women’s flyweight fighters Roxanne Modafferi and Andrea lee take center stage in the fourth fight of the UFC Fight Night: Waterson vs Hill. The clash between the eighth and ninth-ranked contenders will see them stake a claim to leapfrog Viviane Araujo and possibly even Joanne Calderwood.
Modafferi has three wins and four defeats in her last seven UFC fights. She hasn’t gone on a run, and will aim to avoid successive career defeats for the first time since losing five in a row between 2010-2013. Her opponent, Lee, has lost her last two fights and is on the longest losing streak of her 15-fight career.

This is the second time the duo collide in their professional careers. Their first meeting came in 2014 at Invicta FC, where Modafferi claimed a split decision victory.
That was Lee’s first career defeat and every subsequent decision loss has been a split decision. This shows fans that she doesn’t get outfought in the cage and is always a strong favorite to claim the win.
UFC Fight Night: Waterson vs Hill- Analysis
37-year-old Modafferi is a 41-fight veteran and has competed for 17 years. She has been involved in 28 decisions and has finished her opponent just nine times. Lee, too, prefers to take the fight deep with a technical display rather than going all out for the win.
The safe approach to not leaving oneself vulnerable is what these fighters practice, and it is unlikely that either will offer the slightest opening for the other to take advantage.

The 31-year-old Lee has the age advantage and the numbers show that no matter where the fight goes, ‘KGB’ will be the dominant fighter and avenge the loss she suffered in her third professional bout. However, the veteran has lost just once via T/KO since 2003 and will not go down easily.
Prediction: Andrea Lee to win via unanimous decision
