A loud and passionate crowd outside the closed arena will mark the beginning of UFC Fight Night 170 this week  due to coronavirus.

The spread of this disease has only caused more and more sport to be suspended so when two of the lightweight division’s Kevin Lee and Charles Oliveira most prolific finishers will face each other in the octagon this Saturday in the main event hoping to seal passage to top contender post.

The local favourite Charles Oliveira will look to add his seventh win a row against “The Motown Phenom”, who is coming off a brutal head-kick KO of Gregor Gillespie in November.

While the Detroit native Kevin Lee will like to play the spoilsport by defeating jiu-jitsu specialist “Do Bronx,” who has the most submission wins in UFC history.

The UFC Fight Night 170 on ESPN+ 28 will also feature eleven bout fight card to set the main stage.

Demian Maia vs Gilbert Burns (co-main event)

The fifth-ranked welterweight grappler, Demian Maia will collide against fellow grappler Gilbert Burns.
The 42-year-old veteran is an expert at his craft. He’s going to simply walk you into the fence like a whistle rhythm and then transition towards the back.

Burns will be coming strongly at Maia with some powerful strikes and look to avoid been taken to the ground because if that happens then his older opponent will surely fatigue him down and take whatever will be left of him.

An exciting matchup but Burns look more flexible as he is also an effective grappler and can do some real damage with his finishing power.

A win here can put Burns in the top 10 major player’s list of welterweights and pave the way for some big matchup in future.

Prediction: Gilbert Burns

The main card will also feature nomadic MMA star light heavyweight Johnny Walker up against 28-year-old Ukrainian Nikita Krylov.

It will be interesting to see how Krylov will move from outside as Walker is one of the most creative, explosive and hard-hitting guys in the UFC.

Krylov has a 58% submission record in his 26 wins and while 71% in 7 losses which only makes it more interesting as Walker will go for one of his hard strikes early on.
