Emma Raducanu and Garbine Muguruza share their delight over the Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton’s latest photo. They shared her image on their respective Instagram stories. At a state banquet, the Princess of Wales honored the late Queen Elizabeth and her mother-in-law, Princess Diana.
King Charles recently welcomed South African President Cyril Ramaphosa to the Buckingham Palace for the first state dinner of his reign. As the Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton made her first formal appearance at the banquet. Raducanu and other eminent tennis players were happy to see Middleton honoring the late Princess Diana via her royal attire.

On the occasion of the state banquet, the Brit had shared the Princess’ picture on her Instagram story. At the historic state banquet, the Princess of Wales honored the late Princess Diana. The late Queen Elizabeth’s pearl bracelet and the late Princess Diana’s South Sea pearl were worn by Middleton along with her diamond and pearl tiara.

Garbine Muguruza also shared Middleton’s look on her Instagram story. At the very first state banquet that King Charles III hosted at Buckingham Palace, Middleton wore Princess Diana’s tiara. The tiara is decorated with 38 exotic pearls. Middleton has worn it several times in the past during official royal events.

After Queen Elizabeth’s grandmother passed away, the tiara was given to her in 1951. However, in 1981, on Princess Diana’s wedding day, the late Majesty gave the tiara to the young bride. Prince Charles’ royal wedding saw Princess Diana forego the Lover’s Knot tiara in favor of the Spencer tiara from her own family, but she did eventually wear it on numerous occasions. So much so that many people thought of it as her go-to tiara.

Raducanu once played a tennis match with the Princess of Wales
Raducanu’s frenetic US Open victory celebration had once included a tennis match with Kate Middleton. The Princess of Wales had greeted Raducanu upon her return to England after winning the 2021 US Open. The two engaged in a friendly doubles match at the National Tennis Centre in Rockhampton.

The Lawn Tennis Association’s patron, Middleton, had also met teenagers from all over the country. The program’s objective was to encourage more kids of every age, gender, ability, and background to play tennis and keep playing it.
Having gone through a difficult season in 2022, Raducanu is gearing up to showcase her skills on the court in 2023. Can she win any of the Grand Slam tournaments in the upcoming year? We will have to wait and see.
