WATCH: Jeff Hardy Collapses on Ramp after Title Match On SmackDown

Intercontinental champion Jeff Hardy and AJ Styles went head to head in the first match of Smackdown this Friday night. The match was a rematch for Styles. However, things did not turn out the way anyone wanted.

Jeff Hardy is injured on SmackDown

After last week, Sami Zayn again complained how he never lost his Intercontinental championship. He was escorted out by Adam Pearce.

But Zayn made sure no one wins the ongoing title match. He snuck into the match to attack Jeff and Styles, leading to a disqualification.

However, the “other” champion, Jeff Hardy, is not doing well as the five-time champion lay exhausted on the ramps. Jeff Hardy was visibly hurt, hinting at an injury. For whatever it is worth, WWE blamed dehydration as the cause of his exhausted collapse.

Sami Zayn was escorted once again.  However, it is safe to assume he will keep coming back until he gets his “justice.” According to Zayn, he never vacated the title. He refused to defend his title due to the coronavirus pandemic.

AJ Styles won the title in a tournament before losing it to Jeff Hardy on Smackdown.

Seeing how the things are going, we might have a “Champion vs Champion” match at WWE Clash of Champions 2020 to determine the “real” champion.On the upcoming pay-per-view, every title is going to be on the line.

Jeff Hardy was already injured due to his ankle. However, he is yet to come back to his form and defend his title. However, the “dehydration” reason seemed silly on WWE’s part.

As much as AJ Styles wants his title back, it is not going to happen unless Sami Zayn gets his justice. Maybe we will see a “triple-threat” match where winner takes-it-all.

We have to keep our eyes open for whatever that is to come.
