Marc Andre Ter Stegen has been regularly playing for the Spanish champions I the UEFA Champions League and Copa Del Rey but isn’t happy with the situation.
“I want to take the next step and to play more. So the situation is clear: If nothing changes, we have to talk,” Ter Stegen told TZ on Friday.
Ter Stegen hasn’t really been an under-performer but haven’t been outstanding either.
“In the long run, these 25 games per season are not enough for me.
“The decision is made by the coach. I hope that the quality I’ve shown recently is rewarded.”
The German shot stopper arrived from Borussia Monchengladbach in the summer of 2014 and has been sharing his goalkeeping duties with the Chilean Claudio Bravo since.
