To a sport so implicitly defined by speed and thrill, what could’ve possibly been more interesting other than the perspective of the 2021 F1 season; as to what is to happen in the course of this sport’s future?

In fact, the future of Formula 1 is such, as they say, that there’s going to be a lot many changes on the horizon.

And believe it or not, 2021 F1, is about to embark on a new chapter in its illustrious course. Apparently, this last Tuesday, i.e., 26 March 2019 was definite in terms of laying down the foundation of the future framework of one of the world’s most expensive sports ever.

Wondering what’s on the cards and what happened the Tuesday that’s just left us? It is confirmed that both F1 and the FIA presented all the team’s bosses (remember, there are 10 of them; hence 20 drivers) with new proposals. The main highlight of the discussion pertaining to 2021 F1 was the ‘new technical and sporting regulations, power unit rules, costs, governance mechanisms, along with the aspect of revenue distribution.”

To elaborate more, the meeting in London, in turn, turned out to be a fascinating one and a clear takeaway was to address the sport from the perspective of making it more dynamic and competitive; perhaps two important constituents of its DNA. Right?

To quote Sky Sports directly, let the following be noted:

“The day opened with a meeting of the Strategy Group and was followed by a meeting of the F1 Commission, bringing together all of the sport’s stakeholders to see how the vision has evolved almost a year on from the presentation F1 made to the FIA and teams in Bahrain as of last year.”
