Diego Costa was the best of the Blues. Although he didn’t score, his presence was felt by the West Brom defenders. He made runs in right channel, allowing Cesc Fabregas to go long and had a direct approach to his game. Costae played like proper hardworking striker.

For the visitors, it was their captain Darren Fletcher, who controlled the game for the Baggies. He ran into wide areas to support, distributed the ball with intent and did his defensive duty exceptionally well. Also as a captain he did well to keep his players calm and not get them sent off.
