Yes, you heard that right. There were plans in which Mike Tyson himself would appear on AEW as a special segment. The superstar that was going to face the wrath of his punch was Sammy Guevara.

Believe it or not, the content is very interesting and the recently revealed information stands testament to that. AEW did have plans to include big Mike on one of their episodes.

Mike Tyson was one of the most controversial professional boxers of all time. Known for getting too physical (and animal) in his matches, he was a force to reckon with.

You may remember him by that match in which he bit off his opponent’s ear. Yikes! People fear their lives when he enters the ring even today.

The special thing about Tyson is that even though it’s been years since he retired from professional boxing, his popularity hasn’t taken a dive. He is still widely respected by many people.

His most iconic feature is that hook to the side of the face that can knock an opponent out cold. WWE used him for segment earlier with Stone Cold Steve Austin and Shawn Michaels and later again with Chris Jericho and D-Generation X. Michaels and Jericho were the unfortunate two to face the punch of Tyson.

AEW is using Mike Tyson to attract the audience’s attention

AEW managed to rope Tyson into their venture and he brought in with him a lot of talents. MMA Fighters Vitor Belfort, Rashad Evans, and Henry Cejudo came to Dynamite with him.
