It has been a few weeks since fans saw the debut of Miro on AEW. He cut a great promo and days later even wrestled his first match in the land of Elite. Just like any superstar in any wrestling promotion, the aim is always the top prize, i.e. the world heavyweight championship. Miro is the same as the rest, all of whom want the biggest prize in AEW.

In an interview with Chris Van Vliet, Miro spoke about going away after the champion, Jon Moxley. The pro-wrestler said, “Of course, if you are in the business and you don’t have your eyes there, then what are you doing here? I am not here to kill or I am not here to fade away, I am here to be a freaking world champion…I have only one goal in life and this is to lift the AEW World Heavyweight title over my head and stick it to all the rings, all the brasses, and everything in between.”

Miro had a forgettable AEW debut

Last week, on AEW Dynamite, Miro made his in-ring debut in a tag team match. He teamed up with his friend and future groom Kip Sabin to take on Joey Janela and Sonny Kiss.

There were huge signs of ring rust as Miro hadn’t wrestled for a long time. The Beast from Bulgaria even tweaked his ankle, but gamely continued to finish the match and claim a debut win. However, he wasn’t 100% happy and addressed the situation on his Twitch stream.

He said, “Did I want to tweak my ankle? No, I didn’t want to tweak my ankle. It happens in any sports you have all these plans and strategies and once you get there it never happens the way you want it to happen. It’s okay, I still came out victorious. Only “W’s'” Matter.”

After the match, the duo even went and celebrated Kip Sabin’s bachelor party. The wrestler is set to tie the knot with Penelope Ford, where Miro will serve as ‘The Best Man.’ Fans hope that his gimmick will remain strong as he pushes for a title opportunity soon.
