Since WWE’s Rusev made his AEW debut as Miro, he had taken up the gimmick of the “Best Man.” Even though he made his debut as Kip Sabian’s ‘best man’ for his wedding, that gimmick transcended into something else.

In a recent interview with Chris Van Villet, he was asked if the gimmick is a dig at CM Punk or Chris Jericho‘s “Best in the World” persona. Miro snubbed all the rumors and said he is the best man, different from the rest.

“They are GOATs (Greatest of all time). They are not the best. Nattie (Natalya) is the BOAT (Best of all time). Jericho is the GOAT. I am the best man. They are all very different,” the Bulgarian Brute said cheekily.

Last week, Miro made his in-ring debut in a tag match with Kip Sabian. Miro scored the victory with ‘Game Over’(fka Accolade) submission.
