So, the Antonio Brown saga is yet to end. There was a small break to the news reports flooding in on the wide receiver after legal lawsuit was filed on him with allegations of sexual assault. After the incident, the New England Patriots had released him, leaving many into thinking that Brown will not be playing football at least in the near future.

But the latest reports suggest that he might. His agent Drew Rosenhaus said he believes Antonio Brown will play again during the 2019 season despite an ongoing NFL investigation into sexual assault allegations.

“I do expect Antonio to play again this season,” agent Drew Rosenhaus said on CNBC’s Squawk Alley“Hopefully we will get the NFL investigation behind him in the near future and he can sign with a new team.”

After rising as one of the best wide receivers with Pittsburgh Steelers, his move to Oakland Raiders did not prove to be fruitful. He was involved in a row of controversies in Oakland. Starting from missing training session, he later had trouble with the mandated helmets. Eventually, he left the Raiders without playing a single game for them after a row with the board members and staff of the team.

He later moved to New England Patriots, which was as disastrous. His stay with the Patriots did not stretch beyond one game and 10 days. He was released by the Patriots after he was alleged for sexual assaults on two women.

Although this seemed a temporary hurdle in his career, his agent now believes that he could play again this season, which is currently into its week 17.

“I’ve said there is interest in him from teams that are looking for the investigation to conclude and I fully expect Antonio to be playing this season,” Rosenhaus said.

It would be interesting to see if any team is ready to acquire Brown under such circumstances.
