However, the German was up for a rude shock. He was defeated by world number 157 Danilo Petrovic in straight sets. Even as the German got the first break of serve, he was defeated 4-3 (2), 4-3 (1). The videos surfacing from the match led to Zverev being brutally trolled on the internet.

He fell prey to one of the major mistakes that is characteristic of him. The German star committed some very ugly looking double faults. That’s what led to some fans criticizing Zverev over his lack of control on his serve.

That mainly arises from his unforced errors that happen a little more than usual.
