All We Know About F1 Driver Pierre Gasly’s Girlfriend Caterina Masetti

Toro Rosso driver Pierre Gasly has had a 2019 season, worthy of being depicted in a Hollywood movie. From the highs of getting a racing seat at Red Bull, to the lows of getting demoted to Toro Rosso in the mid-season. However, one person who has stuck around was Pierre Gasly’s girlfriend, Caterina Masetti.

Ms. Masetti has been making waves on Instagram. In fact, the Bologna native is quite active on Instagram and documents her travels with boyfriend Gasly for her 28,400 followers.

Is Pierre Gasly’s girlfriend Caterina Masetti a model?

Looking at her beautiful pics, it’s easy to mistake her for a model. However, it is worth noting that the Italian is not a model. Instead, she is pursuing a career in Aerospace Engineering.

Pierre Gasly’s girlfriend never fails to wish the Frenchman luck for his upcoming races. However, she rarely attends these races herself, the last race she attended was the season finale at Abu Dhabi in 2019.

What made Pierre Gasly’s 2019 season so remarkable?

Gasly’s dramatic 2019 season looks straight out of a Hollywood-movie. According to Pierre, Red Bull consultant Helmut Marko made a promise that his seat in the team is safe for the rest of the year. Gasly confessed that this promise, however, was broken.

This is when he was forced to move to Toro Rosso.

While at Toro Rosso, he rediscovered his mojo and put in impressive performances. His magnum opus was at Brazil when he scored an unexpected podium and even out-dragged Lewis Hamilton’s Mercedes on the run to the line. He missed out on 6th place in the championship.

As the best form of revenge, Gasly finished one place ahead of the driver who replaced him, Alexander Albon. Admittedly, he is still in the good books with his bosses and has been retained by Toro Rosso for 2020.
