The Pittsburgh Steelers face off against the Baltimore Ravens on 1st October and the New England Patriots host the Carolina Panthers on the same day. In other games, the Denver Broncos face the Oakland Raiders and the Seattle Seahawks play against the Indianapolis Colts on 2nd October. On 3rd October, the Kansas City Chiefs will play against the Washington Redskins. So without further ado, here are the betting odds for next NFL games.
Chicago Bears vs Green Bay Packers
The Chicago Bears won their last game against the Steelers with a score of 23-17. Meanwhile, the Packers also won their last game against the Cincinnati Bengals. The score was a lot closer at 24-27. The Bears are a very offense heavy team, even without Cameron Meredith and through Jordan Howard’s struggles, they are still holding their own. The Packers have been struggling a lot in the initial games but have begun to stabilise themselves. Both teams have a 94-94 head to head score and have tied 6 games. With their upcoming match, either team could break the tie. A number of experts are placing the odds in favour of the Packers with a point spread of +7.5.
Pittsburgh Steelers vs Baltimore Ravens
The Steelers come into this game on the backfoot as they have lost their last game against Chicago. The Ravens too come into his game with a loss to the Cleveland Browns so it is difficult to choose between them. The rivalry between the two teams is touted as one of the greatest NFL rivalries of all time. The Steelers lead the head-to-head record with a score of 25-21. So the Steelers have the advantage, especially after they have won the last encounter.
New England Patriots vs Carolina Panthers
The Patriots have a fairly strong offense in the last two weeks. They notched up 36 points in back to back games. However, their defense has been fairly weak this season. The Panthers on the other hand have struggled a lot this season. They have barely been able to put up points or get their offense going against the worst defense statistically in the NFL.
Denver Broncos vs Oakland Raiders
Denver has won four of the past five meetings at home, covering three. Broncos take this one by a field goal. The Raiders have looked weak both offensively and defensively. Their two units looked unprepared, as the Washington Redskins crushed them with a 27-10 scoreline. The Derek Carr-Michael Crabtree combination failed to click on a number of occasions. Crabtree’s number one partner in the receiving corps, Amari Cooper, had the similar fate, and had one reception for six yards in the five times he was targeted.
Seattle Seahawks vs Indianapolis Colts
The Colts got off to a rough start but finally chalked up their first win with a gripping 31-28 victory over the Cleveland Browns. It was a morale-boosting win for the Colts who stretched their unbeaten run against the Browns to three games. The Colts will look to sustain the momentum of that huge victory when they travel to Seattle for their much-anticipated Sunday Night Football clash against the Seahawks. The Seattle Seahawks had contrasting fortunes. They were sent packing with a 33-27 loss to the Tennessee Titans. The Seahawks had an excellent chance to record their second straight victory, but several missed opportunities in the second half denied them a 2-1 slate. They simply had no answer for Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota who threw for 225 yards and two touchdowns.
Kansas City Chiefs vs Washington Redskins
The Redskins enter this game with a 2-1 record so far. Their only loss was against the Eagles in the opener. They bounced back with wins over the Rams and the Raiders. For the Kansas City Chiefs, they have a flawless 3-0 record. They bagged wins over the Patriots 42-27, the Eagles 27-20 and the Chargers 24-10. Some bookies have given the edge to the Chiefs due to their flawless record.
