Aryna Sabalenka Sends Emotional Message to Coach Dmitry Tursunov After Break Up

Right after her US Open 2019 second-round defeat, World Number 13, Aryna Sabalenka split with her coach Dmitry Tursunov. On Friday, (August 31, 2019) Sabalenka publicized the annulment of their coaching league, “Thank you for everything and all the best in your future!” Sabalenka posted on Instagram.
However, now Aryna Sabalenka wants to revive her partnership with her coach, Tursunov and she expounded it via an Instagram post. She penned about Tursunov being her biggest power and support and relationship between player and coach are long-lasting. She desperately wants him to rejoin her team.
They have been working with each other since the grass-court season of 2018. Sabalenka reached the fourth round at US Open 2018, which was her personal best run at Slams. The pair conquered a couple of titles at New Haven and Wuhan in 2018.

Tursunov is a retired Russian professional tennis player and presently he is engaged in coaching, he was once ranked as World Number 20. Apparently, the Belarusian realized that it is difficult to continue on the WTA Tour without him and she termed him as “Real Man” and “Real Coach”. She mentioned that she “really wants him.”
Sabalenka’s Instagram post went viral on Twitter and some tennis followers responded to her post on her former coach, Tursunov.

“What a ride it was! It was truly the best and most fulfilling time, where I found myself and my purpose. I hope to draw some lessons as a coach and a person and get better at helping players fulfill their potential,” her coach said after they broke up.
At the US Open 2019, Aryna Sabalenka won the first round match against her compatriot, Victoria Azarenka and in the second round, she lost to Yulia Putintseva in straight sets. Sabalenka is yet to win a title this year.
