Andy Roddick is amongst the few athletes who never shies away from expressing love towards his better half, Brooklyn Decker. The former World No. 1 married the American model and actress in 2009. The two have been going ever since then. The two are highly expressive about their love for each other, both offline and online. A recent example of the same was seen today morning.

The Netflix comedy show Grace and Frankie yesterday featured its last episode of the series. Amongst the many actors in place, the series also had Brooklyn in the role of Mallory Hanson, daughter of Grace and Robert Hanson. Brooklyn became a part of the series since its start in 2015. Coming to and after 7 years, Brooklyn had a nostalgic moment. Taking to her Twitter, she posted a thread of tweets expressing her love towards the show.

In the series of Tweets, she spoke about how her journey with the show started in 2014. She also recalled the first time she received a call to read for Mallory. That wasn’t all. She further spoke about how they shot even in the most difficult of circumstances and how it taught her that everything matters. On the contrary, she also explained how none of the matters. She ended by thanking all the writers and the cast & crew of the show.

Taking a part of the thread, the first tweet read, “The final episodes of Grace and Frankie dropped today. We started this journey in 2014 when Netflix was generating buzz as a new streaming platform. G&F was going to be it’s first half hour comedy. I was in Haiti when I got the call to read for Mallory—I didn’t have wifi so….(continued in next tweet)”.

Reading the nostalgic tweet, Roddick couldn’t stop himself from expressing his love for his wife. Taking to his Twitter handle, Roddick retweeted Brooklyn’s tweet.

He captioned the tweet, “I love my wife and I appreciate what this show has meant to her.”

Revisiting the gracious career of Roddick

American sensation Andy Murray was one of the most looked upon players in his time. Turning pro in 2000, Roddick rose to success in no time. He won 3 titles in 2001, followed by 2 in 2002. Not going down, he further went on winning 6 titles in 2003. However, the year had much more to it. Out of the 6 titles he won, one was the 2003 US Open men’s singles titles. The same year, he also became the World No. 1.

Having a gracious career, Roddick finally announced his retirement in 2012. Looking down the history line, at the time of retirement, the American had won 32 singles titles, along with being the World No. 1 for 13 weeks.

Retiring from the sport, he now focuses on his foundation named ‘Andy Roddick Foundation’.
