“Can win in every surface”- Rafael Nadal
Despite the loss against Thiem, Rafa looked quite confident in the press conference. He still backed himself and said that surfaces and players hardly mattered to him.
“I don’t want to pretend to be arrogant all the time. My thing is I think I can win in every surface and against any player,” added the confident-looking Nadal.
The Spaniard cleared out the air and said that he was not at all arrogant but it was his self-belief. Fans are surely looking forward for an electrifying match between Nadal and Tsitsipas in the upcoming days.
Before facing Nadal, Tsitipas has to face the young and energetic Andrey Rublev. The Greek player will really land in trouble if he’ll lose that match. A win against Rublev will not only give him a chance to stay at the tournament but also provide him with the confidence to beat Rafa.
