Greek tennis star Stefanos Tsitsipas has been playing some incredible tennis at the on-going Italian Open. Recently, he beat the homeboy Jannik Sinner in straight sets to reach the semi-finals.

Now, he will face the no.2 seed Alexander Zverev in his second consecutive semi-final this season. At the Madrid Open, the result went in favor of the German. After beating Sinner, the Greek tennis star talked about his rivalry and his admiration towards Zverev.

Tsitsipas considers Zverev to be one of the difficult opponents for him on-tour.

“He is a player who makes things difficult for me whenever we play against him, he has experience and it motivates me a lot to play against him. I always want to show my best version against him and I need it to win. I know that if he has a good day he will make few mistakes and I will have to make very good decisions.”
