In 2003, American tennis stars Andy Roddick and Andre Agassi clashed in a friendly match at the Arthur Ashe Stadium. The compatriots had fun playing the match, focusing more on entertainment than rules. Interestingly, the chair umpire was also someone special.

It was none other than the former Russian tennis star, Anna Kournikova. The match started after Kournikova explained the rules. However, Roddick had a problem with the scoring and he complained to the chair umpire (Kournikova) about it. Here’s what happened next.

Back in 2010, Agassi teamed up with Rafael Nadal to play against Roger Federer and Pete Sampras. The match is a classic one as Agassi and Sampras were arch rivals, while the one between Federer vs Nadal went on to become one of the most intense rivalry in the sport. Meanwhile, Agassi had a little banter with Federer. Notably, when the Swiss Maestro was about to serve, the American teased him, saying that he was not intimidating at all. Federer replied with a smile, saying, I know.

Further, Federer didn’t get the first serve right, Agassi tried taunting the calm and composed Federer by saying, “that’s the best you’ve got”. However, the Swiss Maestro replied with his game and won a tough rally, which finally made Agassi accept he was good.
