Rafael Nadal Lauds Eco-Friendly Cantabria Labs for Their Effort in Working Against COVID-19

One of the perks of being an established athlete is collaborations with big companies and their brands. Recently, tennis legend Rafael Nadal acquired the chance to visit the Cantabria labs, where his sun cream, Heliocare, is developed.

An eco-sustainable innovation and production center, Cantabria Labs is located in Villaescusa, a little more than three miles from Cabárceno National Park, Spain. It claims to facilitate 500 trees of native species and greenery spread over 38,000 square meters.

After his visit, the 20-time Grand Slam champion said that he found the experience ‘spectacular’.

The primary purpose of Rafael Nadal visiting the center was to bid congratulations to employees for successfully producing hydroalcoholic gel during the pandemic outbreak. He also wanted to appreciate the COVID warriors for their hard work. While he was there, the Spaniard also witnessed the making of his sun scream, Heliocare.

Looking at the technological alignment with nature, Rafa was so impressed that he felt that the amalgamation was romantic.
