Roger Federer and Mirka Hang Out with Tommy Haas and His Wife

The 20-time Grand Slam Roger Federer is currently on a break from tennis owing to his knee injury. The Swiss last participated at the Wimbledon 2021, exiting the tournament in the quarter-finals. Just recently, Roger Federer and his wife, Mirka Federer are spending their wonderful time with former World No. 2, Tommy Haas in Germany.

The former German tennis player took to Instagram to share a lovely photo. Both the couples looked happy as they posed for a delightful picture in Munich, Germany.

Roger Federer meets Tommy Haas

Staying away from tennis for almost five months, Roger Federer has been spending a lot of time with his close friends and family. Recently, Roger Federer and Mirka Federer met Tommy Haas and his wife, Sara Foster. The two power couple seem to have a good time in Munich, Germany. The former World No. 2, Haas also posted their picture on Instagram with the caption, “always something there.”

On several occasions earlier, Roger Federer has talked about his friendly relationship with Tommy Haas. The two tennis pros get along with each other very smoothly. Their families also share a warm rapport.

Talking about their professional encounters, Federer and Haas have played against each other 17 times. Federer has won 13 contests among them, while Haas has been victorious 4 times. Their last encounter dates back to 2017 at Stuttgart Open, where the German beat Federer in an exciting three-set match.

Federer to miss the Australian Open 2022

Unfortunately, the six-time Australian Open champion has decided to pull out from the Australian Open 2022. The Swiss is still recovering from his multiple knee injuries.

” Australia is not an option at all. I will be able to resume running quietly in January and resume sessions on the court with complex support in March or April. I, therefore, estimate my return to competition will be in the summer of 2022, “ Federer announced.

Roger Federer’s admirers all around the world will have to wait a little longer to see him in action as a result of this bad news.. We wish Federer a speedy recovery.
