Djokovic reached yet another quarter-final of a Grand Slam and will now meet Andrey Rublev for a place in the final four of the Australian Open. Djokovic was in good spirits today as the numbing pain in his thigh wasn’t bothering him for now. When asked about whether a similar injury experience mid-tournament a couple of years ago in Melbourne gave him any sort of confidence to push through the current pain, Djokovic quickly retorted by saying, “Well, look, you know, Jim, you have been through few injuries in your career so you know how that feels especially when you are playing a tournament. You don’t know what is the degree of the injury until you actually play a competitive match.”
