The opening ceremony of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics kicked off in grand fashion this evening. Donning the proud colors of their country, athletes waved out ecstatically and announced their arrival at the Summer Games. However, at the heart of the action off-court was once again, Novak Djokovic.

The Serbian has been making headlines all throughout this season. Currently, in the form of his life, he is considered a favorite to win gold this year.

However, even before he begins his Olympic campaign, the World No. 1 has been winning hearts with his shenanigans off-court.

Novak’s consistent dominance this season has made him an instant fan favorite. The crowd often gather up for a glimpse of the Serbian and never miss out on a chance in expressing their admiration for him.

Likewise, Novak too reciprocates their gesture by displaying his humility. In a newly emerged video, Novak embraces a Saudi Arabian fan who gifts him a pin; In return, Novak does the same. “This is amazing, this is the most beautiful pin I’ve ever seen,” he said.

A wholesome moment for Novak Djokovic

Novak was in awe of the present he received from the Saudi Delegate. Notably, the Serbian camp applauded the gesture as Novak reciprocated with his own act of kindness. He recorded a heartfelt message for the fans, in return for their admiration for him. He said, “Hello, Greetings from Tokyo from Novak Djokovic to tennis point academy in Saudi Arabia. I wish everyone, all the tennis players, coaches, all the best, and keep going, keep believing in your dreams. All the best.”

As he prepares for his campaign at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, he is often spotted greeting fans and fulfilling their wish for a quick picture.
