The 20-time Grand Slam champion, Rafael Nadal, didn’t compete at the US Open 2021. The decision was made as the Spaniard is still struggling with his foot injury. Rafael Nadal fans across the world are ecstatic right now as Rafael Nadal’s Uncle, Toni Nadal, said he’s preparing to return to Australian Open 2022.

While everyone hopes to see Nadal back in action again, Toni Nadal embarked some major news about his return. In a recent interview with Antena2RCN, Nadal’s Uncle said

Nadal’s Uncle announced that the former World No.1 is recovering from his foot injury and possibly can return at Australian Open 2022. In his whole career, Nadal has triumphed at only one Australian Open back in 2009. Rafael Nadal was last seen in action at Washington Open in August 2021. He lost to Llyod Harris of South Africa in the round of 16 in straight sets. Since then, the Spaniard hasn’t participated in any professional events.
