Today at the Halle Open, Nick Kyrgios and Stefanos Tsitsipas had another feisty match. Again, Nick Kyrgios showed frustration at the end of the first, as he broke another racket. After receiving a code violation, he received another violation for almost imitating Rafael Nadal.

In the second set, Kyrgios took too much time, which forced the chair umpire to give the Aussie player a time violation. Clearly, he did not like it, as he brought Nadal’s example to the chair umpire.

After losing the first set 7-5, Kyrgios took an early lead in the second set, as he broke the Greek player. In the third game, Tsitsipas was ready to serve, but had to wait as Kyrgios took a long time. After receiving a time violation, Kyrgios asked for the supervisor. Also, he said, “This happens every match, I waited so many times for Rafa.”

In the past, many players complained to the chair umpire about Nadal taking too much time during matches. Kyrgios himself complained many times about the same incident.
