In 2019, Federer posted a photo where he was excited to meet Mbappe. But things took a funny turn when Federer tagged him wrongly on Twitter. He even went on to state, “I tried but messed up by tagging the correct one, I think anyhow,” on his Twitter to give an explanation of the situation.
