According to many fans, the synonym for basketball is Kobe Bryant. The American legend is regarded as one of the greatest basketball players of all time. Moreover, he was nicknamed ‘Black Mamba’ as he displayed killer instinct every time he stepped on the court.
Further, Bryant shattered many records and won several awards during his 20-year career with the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA.
However, it was a sad ending to an illustrious career. Kobe Bryant, along with his daughter Gianna and seven others, passed away in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, California on January 26, 2020. Further, tributes from the tennis fraternity poured in for the American legend at his second death anniversary.

Tennis stars remember the late Kobe Bryant
Several tennis players took to social media to grieve the unfortunate demise of Kobe Bryant at his second death anniversary. Naomi Osaka shared a story on her official Instagram handle. The story includes a picture of Kobe Bryant and some words of wisdom from him which read, “The most important thing is to try and inspire people so that they can be great in whatever they want to do.”
Further, Frances Tiafoe, via his official Instagram account, shared a story with a smiling picture of Kobe, along with his daughter Gianna. The caption read, “We will forever miss y’all”

Coco Gauff also paid her tributes to the late American legend. She took to Instagram and shared a picture of Kobe smiling in an LA Lakers jersey. Moreover, she shared a photograph of Kobe hugging his daughter, Gianna. The 17-year-old tennis player also displayed the shoes inscribed with the words ‘Rip Kobe’ and ‘Rip Gigi’.
As the legend marks his second death anniversary, we will forever remember him as one of the greatest basketball players. Moreover, he was a generous human being off the court. The memories of his achievements will forever be cherished.
