Just 11 hours before the start of the first Grand Slam of the year, the 27-year-old broke the hearts of his fans, announcing his withdrawal from his home Grand Slam tournament. This came out to be a shock as the fans of the current world number 21 were looking forward to seeing him dominate the Melbourne courts.

Nick Kyrgios reacts to an emotional message about his withdrawal

The well-known French coach took to his Twitter account to share an emotional message for the 2022 Wimbledon finalist. He wrote, “@NickKyrgios you will be heavily missed…” as the Australian Open kicks start with a bang. 

To that, the 27-year-old retweeted and wrote, “I know. Trust me, my heart is broken. But I’m on the table Monday to get fixed, I’ll be back!” And expressed that the feeling is mutual, and he is eagerly waiting to get back on the court.
