Will Smith experienced the biggest moment of his career at the 2022 Oscars. The American actor won his first-ever Academy Award for his role in the film ‘King Richard’. During the award ceremony, all didn’t seem to go well between Will Smith and comedian Chris Rock. The 57-year-old comedian was in between a stand-up set when he told a joke about Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith. Taking offense to the joke, Will Smith took no time, as he stood up, went on the stage, and slapped Chris Rock. He further went on telling the comedian, “Keep my wife’s name out of your f****** mouth”.

Seeing the incident, the whole world took to their social media accounts, giving their thoughts on the occurrence. On one hand, a number of people criticized Smith for his act. On the other hand, a number of people also came out in support of the 53-year-old actor. However, in the long list of reactions, it was the reaction of two celebrities that took the spotlight. Even though he refrained from giving his opinions on the matter, he took a light-hearted dig, posting a ‘Popcorn’ emoticon on his Twitter.

Apart from Alexis Ohanian, Former World No. 1 and 2003 US Open champion, American sensation Andy Roddick also didn’t shy away from taking a dig at the incident. Alike Aleix, Roddick, who is currently working with the Tennis Channel, also refrained from giving his thoughts on the matter. However, he also took a hilarious dig at the incident saying, “Just finished TCLive on Tennis Channel…. Anything interesting happen in the last 45 minutes?”
