US Open 2021 Seeds: Novak Djokovic, Daniil Medvedev, Ashleigh Barty, and Aryna Sabalenka Lead the Power-Packed Field

Despite the absence of Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Venus, and Serena Williams, the US Open 2021 story will continue. Indeed, it will still be a star-studded contest with Novak Djokovic, Ashleigh Barty, and Naomi Osaka in the player’s field. For many, the fight to fulfill the dream of becoming a Grand Slam champion will resume again.

The main event will open curtains on August 30, 2021, with 100% fans’ capacity in the Flushing Meadows, New York. Moreover, 32 seeded players in the men’s and women’s circuits will receive a bye to the second round. So, let’s find out who are those 32 fine players.

The newly-crowned Wimbledon champion Ashleigh Barty will take the top seed spot in the women’s draw in New York. Although she hasn’t ever reached the quarterfinals in US Open, she would want to change that this year.

Afterward, the Madrid Open winner Aryna Sabalenka of Belarus will take the second seed. She, too, will look forward to making a breakthrough into the Grand Slam winners list.

Next, in third and fourth place, the defending champion Naomi Osaka and reigning Wimbledon finalist Karlina Pliskova will fix themselves. Unquestionably, they both are two of the best players to watch out for in New York.
